A Custom Masterpiece by Bost Homes, Absolute Stone, and Design Works NC

In May 2025, our friends at Bost Custom Homes received the Best Product Design Award for Custom Homes between 5,300 to 6,725 square feet—and we were proud to contribute to the project that earned the win: The Oasis.

This breathtaking residence reflects years of collaboration, creativity, and craftsmanship. As Bost Homes shared:

We worked closely with Design Works NC and interior designer Jill Perry to bring the vision to life—combining beautiful materials with functional design across every space.

Great Room

Stone Selection: Natural Black Soapstone

The heart of the home features a grand Natural Black Soapstone fireplace—that’s right, we do more than countertops. This striking centerpiece commands attention and anchors the space with a modern, architectural presence. It’s the perfect balance of boldness and elegance, bringing warmth and design-forward impact to the great room.

Covered Patio & Poolside Fireplace

Stone Selections: Dekton Domoos/Dekton Strato

Step outside to a spacious covered patio overlooking the pool, where a custom stone fireplace, mounted TV, and retractable doors create a seamless indoor-outdoor living experience. The material selections here were chosen for their durability and sophisticated outdoor aesthetic.

Outdoor Kitchen & Al Fresco Dining

Right off the main living area, the outdoor kitchen and dining space invite the owners to enjoy meals under the open sky. We selected sleek, durable stone surfaces that elevate the everyday while standing up to the elements.

Swim-Up Pool Bar

At the far end of the pool, the swim-up bar includes a tap system set into striking stone countertops that blend form and function. This playful feature brings a resort-style vibe to the home’s private oasis.

Primary Bathroom

Stone Selections: Silestone Miami White/Calacatta Borghini Porcelain

The primary bath is a true spa retreat. Bright white counters and walls reflect soft, natural light, while the clean design and precise detailing create a sense of calm and luxury.

Secondary Bathrooms

Stone Selections: White Cristallo Ultra Quartzite/Silestone Ethereal Noctis

Even the home’s secondary bathrooms showcase thoughtful selections. Our team installed beautiful stone sinks and surfaces accented by gold fixtures and backlighting, adding personality and polish to these private spaces.

Scullery

Stone Selection: Silestone Ethereal Haze Suede Quartz

Behind the main kitchen, the scullery features a Silestone Ethereal Haze Suede Quartz that contrasts beautifully with the sleek custom cabinetry. Designed to keep the main kitchen clear and clean, this hidden gem offers additional prep space and smart storage.

Wine Cellar

Stone Selections: White Cristallo Ultra Quartzite

Beneath the stairs, the wine cellar is a showpiece in its own right. With custom designs by Absolute Stone, storing and showcasing wine becomes a luxurious affair. The light-colored White Cristallo Ultra Quartzite gives the space a clean, polished look that woud beautifully complement any wine collection.

Kitchen

Stone Selection: Cristallo Venato Quartzite

With rich dark finishes and carefully selected Cristallo Venato Quartzite countertops, the kitchen ties together sophistication and livability. Every surface was chosen with intention—bringing durability, texture, and timeless beauty to one of the most used spaces in the home.

Golf Simulator Room

While we didn’t install the simulator itself, we love this space—and we were thrilled to contribute the custom stone countertops for the built-ins. It’s the ultimate flex space: part lounge, part entertainment zone, and all-around awesome. Whether you’re perfecting your swing or just hanging out with friends, the stone surfaces add durability and style that elevate the entire vibe.
